My favorite crafting tools
The list of tools for crafting can be quite long... It all depends on the materials and techniques you prefer.
As I use EVA foam a lot, I thought I'd list the tools I use most often. With Amazon links to make your shopping easier.

To cut the foam
There's nothing like a good, sharp exacto knife for cutting foam. And to make sure your blade lasts a long time, you need a good cutting mat and a sharpening block.

To measure
I like to use different types of rulers when I'm working. Depending on the project, its size and its shape.

For sanding and polishing
The rotary tool is an excellent tool for sanding and polishing EVA foam. I like having a large range of heads to make my work easier. Depending on the size of the details to be made.

The die cutters
To go a little further in your foam work, cutting machines can be super interesting. My Silhouette Portrait allows me to cut 2mm foam and make precise and regular cuts. Depending on your budget, it's worth taking a look at other brands too (which are more powerful and offer more possibilities).
